National Garden Scheme Open Day - 5th May 2010
Our first garden open day was a great success. The sun refused to shine - the long cold spring made the garden
3 weeks later than normal, but at least it did not rain!
We had 650 visitors in 2½ hours raising £2700 for charity and a great time was had by all
( despite the queue & traffic gridlock )
A big thank you to all our visitors, the tireless Friends of Eastbourne Hospitals who served tea & cakes
and Lawrie Skinner who delighted us with his accordian music.
