National Garden Scheme Open Day


Our first garden open day in 2010 was a great success. The sun refused to shine - the long cold spring made the garden 3 weeks later than normal, but at least it did not rain! We had 650 visitors in 2½ hours raising £2700 for charity and a great time was had by all ( despite the queue & traffic gridlock )

We have now had 3 openings with 1500 visitors raising over £5000 for Cancer Research.

A big thank you to all our visitors, including the tireless Friends of Eastbourne Hospitals who served tea & cakes. Both Lawrie Skinner (accordion) and Mark Caira ( classical guitar ) delighted us with their music.
