A Basic Bread Making Course

Come and stay at Ocklynge Manor and learn how to make your own bread

Make your own starter dough to take home for sour dough loaves.

This is bread made without fresh or dried yeast, but yeast grown

in your own starter dough.

Learning how to make bread will take very little time during your stay.  

You mix the dough on the arrival day - about 30 mins

Knead twice the following day - about 20 mins in total

and bake at lunchtime for 30 mins.

Whilst the dried yeast bread is cooking, you will make the starter dough

and learn how to manage it for weekly bread making purposes.
